We know that security is a concern for anyone living in a downtown cosmopolitan area. The Merc, in downtown Dayton Ohio, has a number of security features, including:

  • Secure, lighted, attached, off-street parking
  • Secure entry to residential loft space via electronic card key

Secure Residential Loft Access

Tenant Access: As a tenant of the building you’ll gain access by passing your card key over the reader at the main entrance. The doors will electronically lock behind you as you enter the building.

Non-Tenant Access: Non-tenant visitors to the building are required to key in your specific loft number at the video-intercom system at the front door. Once alerted that you have a visitor, you will see and communicate with the visitor from your personal security monitor before deciding to buzz them into the building.

State-of-the-Art Fire Systems

The Merc has a new state-of-the-art fire sprinkler system and each unit is fully equipped with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

Every loft apartment has been designed with two means of egress in the event of an emergency. You will be living and working in one of the safest and most secure buildings in the city of Dayton Ohio.
