The
Lotz Paper Building (view
detailed historical photo), a heavy-timbered structure with
brick walls, has a classical Italian Renaissance Revival cast-iron
facade of the type made by Dayton's McHose and Lyon Co.
Inside, yellow Southern pine joists have been sandblasted, floors
beautifully refinished and a series of brick arches exposed, like
an arcade, in the vast main storeroom.
